Two of Britain's most cherished and distinguished organisations have got together in recent years to promote the centuries-old art of silversmithing.
As part of the initiative, Spot was commissioned to make a film that promoted the 'Studio Silver Today' campaign featuring rising star artist silversmith, Miriam Hanid. Location shoots took place at Ickworth House in Suffolk, the city of London and coastal East Anglia.
Our finished film, (an edited version is shown here), was featured at Ickworth House throughout the spring/summer season of 2012 where Miriam was in attendance, working in front of the public, producing a specially commissioned piece that celebrated both silversmithing and Ickworth itself. We employed use of the latest DSLR cinema style photography to show the magnificent locations in all their glory.
We were delighted to be asked to return and do the honours again for the 2014 campaign. We look forward to sharing the results of that project in the near future.
